In the context of a rapidly changing landscape of higher education, this symposium brings a range of partners together to discuss challenges, possibilities and future directions for music in higher education policy and practice in Ireland. The symposium aims to:

  • discuss the current status of music in higher education in Ireland
  • examine policy and practice in higher music education in the UK and in Ireland
  • broaden representation within higher music education in Ireland
