Alexander Technique Workshop | 27-29 August 2021 | Cork

On the weekend from 27 – 29 August 2021, there will be an Alexander Technique workshop taking place in Coláiste Choilm, Ballincollig with Mary Shorten.

Whether this will be indoors in Coláiste Choilm, Ballincollig, or outdoors in a marquée, will depend on whatever guidelines are in place at the end of the month but both situations are being prepared for.

The format of the workshop will be as follows: Introductory session on Friday evening (7.00pm – 10.00pm), and workshop sessions on Saturday and Sunday (10.00am – 6.00pm). Mary Shorten will be joined by several of her teaching colleagues to facilitate individual lesson experiences in smaller, break-out groups.

Applications are open to people who are fully vaccinated, and the workshop will be run in accordance with HSE guidelines in terms of sanitising, mask-wearing, social-distancing and ventilation procedures. 

Workshop fees:

  • Introductory Lecture (Frdayi) + 1 day (Saturday or Sunday) for €135           
  • Introductory Lecture (Friday) + 2 days (Saturday and Sunday) for €220
