The Arts Council Music Policy Development Consultation | Survey
The Arts Council plans to produce a Music Policy and Strategy in 2022 to guide its decision-making in relation to music in the coming years, and has begun a process of widespread consultation to inform its development.
As part of the development of a new Music Policy, The Arts Council would like to have the professional insight and input of individual music professionals and organisations to help them in drawing up a policy, strategy and initiatives to best meet the needs of audiences and artists into the future.
The consultation survey can be found at AC Music Consultation. The closing date for completion is Sunday, 19 December 2021. This survey is part of a wider research and consultation process to underpin the Music Policy and should take no more than ten minutes to complete.
Please feel free to share the link with other artists and organisations. The Arts Council would like to capture as many views as possible.
If, having completed the survey, you feel you would like to make a more detailed written submission, you may do so by emailing it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In parallel with this, other consultation processes are being undertaken, including a process to gather wider public input in the New Year. It is hoped to complete the music policy and strategy by mid-2022.
If you would like more information on the consultation, please contact email@example.com or phone Adele Kirwan at 087-1175134.
We at IAYO would encourage any music professionals or organisations involved in any kind of music to take part in the survey.
