Spring is proving to be a busy time for many of our members including the UCD Symphony Orchestra who have a number of great events coming up in France and Dublin
From Saturday, 9 March to Sunday, 10 March, the UCD Symphony Orchestra will travel to Strasburg, France where they will perform with L’Orchestre Universitaire de Strasbourg for a series of concerts. L’Orchestre Universitaire de Strasbourg will perform under the direction of Corinna Niemeyer and UCD Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Dr Ciarán Crilly, Head of the UCD School of Music and the orchestra’s Artistic Director
Following this, on Wednesday, 27 March at 8pm, the UCD Symphony Orchestra will hold the first in a series of public presentations on masterworks from the classical music canon entitled “Closer Reading”.
