The Arts Council Announce Funding Opportunities
The Arts Council have announced a number of funding opportunities including the Agility Award, the Young People, Children, and Education Bursary Award and the Music Bursary Award.
The Arts Council’s Music Bursary Award is open for applications until 5:30pm on Thursday, June 22, 2023. This award, available to individual artists in the field of music, serves to provide support for their professional growth and the advancement of their artistic practice.
The main purpose of the award is to enable artists to dedicate time and resources to their artistic development. It offers a platform for artists to engage in critical thinking, research, reflection, and meaningful engagement with their art form.The Music Bursary Award is open to professional artists at any stage of their career. Applicants have the opportunity to receive a maximum award of €20,000.
The Young People, Children, and Education Bursary Award aims to support the professional growth of artists by providing them with the opportunity to enhance their artistic practice. Apply by 5:30pm on Thursday 22 June 2023
The primary focus of this bursary is to assist artists in developing and delivering high-quality arts experiences either with or for children and young people. It welcomes applications from individual artists and practitioners involved in creative endeavors across all art forms. This includes artists, arts facilitators, curators, and programmers.
Applicants can receive a maximum award amount of €20,000, enabling them to allocate time and resources towards the advancement of their artistic practice. The bursary provides a platform for artists to refine their skills and broaden their capacity to create impactful arts experiences for young audiences.
The Agility Award round 2 of funding aims to support individual professional freelance artists and arts workers at any stage in their careers. Apply by 5:30pm on Thursday 22 June 2023.
Application Process:
All applications must be made through The Arts Council’s online services website. You will be able to upload a wide range of support materials in electronic format along with your application form. You must be registered with the online services website to make an application. If you are not already registered, we recommend you register for online services as far in advance of the deadline as possible, as it may take five days for your online services registration to be processed.
