Julianstown Youth Orchestra Open to New Members
Julianstown Youth Orchestra in Meath are excited about the 2023/2024 season and are looking forward to welcoming new members. Senior orchestra rehearsals will recommence on Thursday, 7 September, learn more about JYO here.
JYO will also introduce the JYO Academy in September aimed at children who have been playing an instrument for a while and are preparing for grade 1>3. The JYO Academy is a stepping stone towards becoming a member of the JYO Senior Orchestra.
The senior orchestra rehearse every Friday at CNI, Bettystown from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. If your child is interested in joining the orchestra, please email the parent committee at julianstownyouthorchestra@gmail.com.

The 2023/2024 season is promising to provide even more performance opportunities for JYO members. JYO will perform with Marymount NS Choir in the Barbican in Drogheda in November 2023 and are very grateful to the Drogheda Implementation Board for the funding to facilitate this community project titled Songs & Strings across the Boyne. JYO will also commence a yearlong collaboration with the Limerick School of Music and the Midlands Youth Orchestra, thanks to funding from IAYO as part of the IAYO Youth Orchestra Collaboration Scheme, with performances arranged for October 2023 and Spring 2024.
