Job Opportunity: Development Officer with Sing Ireland
Sing Ireland is seeking applications for the position of Development Officer.
Sing Ireland is a dynamic cultural organisation and charity that seeks to positively enhance and change people’s lives through group singing. The organisation successfully rebranded as Sing Ireland in 2019 and is poised for significant growth and impact over the coming years. Sing Ireland is now looking to recruit a talented and highly motivated professional to join the Sing Ireland team as Development Officer, and play a key role in Sing Ireland’s growth and change plans.
Sing Ireland’s vision for the future sees it embedding itself as a central cultural player that advocates for, represents and demonstrates the life enhancing ability of group singing. The organisational model that Sing Ireland seeks to further develop has been set out in its strategy and a robust and energised process is now underway for implementation and execution. Group singing can affect enormous positive change in society and Sing Ireland is at a tipping point in further demonstrating that impact.
This new position has been created of part of the Fundraising Fellowship, Ireland programme in partnership with Business to Arts and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media. The successful candidate will be provided with workshops /training/mentoring sessions and join a peer network of Fundraising professionals, supported by Business to Arts. The Fellowship aims to provide training and professional development to enhance long-term careers in fundraising and development for the Irish cultural sector.
This is a full-time, 24-month contract with a 6-month probation period. This position will be remote, with a need to be available to attend key events and networking opportunities nationally throughout the calendar year.
