Job Opportunity: Artistic Director with Pipeworks Festival

Pipeworks Festival is seeking for applications for the position of Artistic Director from 2023 – 2025.

This part-time’ position which will involve approximately an average of ‘one-day’s work’ per week, in flexible hours over a nine-month annual period.

The Artistic Director will be expected to devise an innovative annual program that will provide world-class cultural experiences for artists and audiences centred on Dublin’s and Ireland’s unique pipe organ patrimony and the country’s high level of choral singing, both ecclesiastical and secular.

At the centre of this program is the annual Pipeworks CLG Festival. The Festival is expected to be multi-faceted in content and appeal, and to feature musicians of the highest national and international repute.

The chosen individual will be well connected and respected within the international and Irish indigenous organ community, and will demonstrate the capacity to build positive relationships and collaborate with a range of stakeholders, within diverse contexts. The individual should also demonstrate the ability to bring a generous, inclusive, equitable leadership approach to the role, in alignment with Pipeworks’s ethos and values.
