Job Opportunity: Tutor with Athenry Music School
Athenry Music School are seeking a number of tutors to join the team.
Athenry Music School nurtures a positive, fun and inclusive approach to music education.
They are looking for A Piano Teacher (1-4 days or part-time), Harp (Classical and/or Traditional, 1-2 days or part-time) and Reed (clarinet and saxophone, 1 day).
Qualifications:
- Patience in abundance
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of and a curiosity of pedagogical methodologies and philosophies
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Familiarity with excel for data gathering for concerts
- Ability to stay within deadlines for data gathering
- Knowledge of a wide range of pedagogical repertoire suitable for ages 6-18+
- Bachelor’s Degree in Music and/ or pedagogical training or experience

Support and flexibility for professional musicians who tour or work elsewhere. Students range from beginners to G5/6. (children and adults). Local accommodation can be sourced if needed.
