Job Opportunity: Programme Facilitator with Presto Project in Dublin

Presto Project are hiring a Programme Facilitator, Presto Project is part of St Ultan’s music programme in Cherry Orchard, Dublin 10.

Application deadline is Friday 20 January 2023.

Working hours: 5 -10hr / wk vacancy (Tuesdays 12:00-17:00).

Renumeration Rate: €36 p/hr. Subject to trial period of 3 months.

Job duties:

1. Administrative work to support an extensive school- based music
programme involving over 400 young musicians, 1-18 year olds.

2. Proactive practical facilitation of the day to day operational functions of
Presto Project, as directed by the Music Director.

3. Motivating children and teenagers to engage with the programme.

4. Promoting the programme through website and social media.

5. Skillful Instrumental tuition in accordance with the teaching and learning
ethos of Presto Project.

Suitable applicants should be:

1. A highly skilled musician, minimum Grade 8 RIAM or ABRSM.

2. An effective teacher with a minimum of 5 years’ experience and a track
record of working with large groups of up to 30 students.

3. A self- motivated individual with a strong work ethic.

4. A person who can motivate children, teenagers and colleagues.

5. Someone who is reliable and efficient in completing workload.
