Job Opportunity: Musician Educators with Music Generation Westmeath

Longford and Westmeath Education and Training Board (LWETB), on behalf of Music Generation Westmeath wishes to recruit suitably qualified and experienced Musician Educators to form a panel for vacancies that may arise in 2024/2025 to deliver the following programme strands:

  • Irish Traditional Music (all instruments)
  • Classical Strings
  • Vocal (all genres and including choral)
  • Rock, Pop, Country & Folk Instruments
  • Music in SEND settings
  • Music in Early Years settings
  • Songwriting/ composition specialist (including rap & DJ skills)
  • Music Technology
  • Woodwind/ Brass

Candidates should have prior experience in delivering performance music education to children and young people and have proven performance skills. Musician Educators work with children and young people in group contexts and may be asked to work on one or more programme(s) at any given time.
