glór is an ambitious arts centre of excellence located in the heart of Ennis, County Clare. In addition to hosting a substantial programme of local, national and international performances, events and visual arts, glór supports artists in a range of ways, and it facilitates the development of new work that reflects and responds to the creative landscape of Clare. glór is now seeking to recruit a Director, who will lead the organisation with passion, imagination, and dedication in the next phase of its development and artistic achievement.

The Director will be responsible for ensuring that the centre achieves its artistic, audience and financial objectives. They will provide leadership of glór’s artistic programme and will create a programme of performing arts and visual arts with a diverse range of partners. 

Experience in strategy development and financial management skills are essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, relationship management and communication skills, and have a proven track record of advocacy and promotion.

Salary: €65,000 – €70,000 

Contract: Initial five-year contract with a six-month probation period
