Creative Europe Desk Ireland in collaboration with The Arts Council will host ‘Making Connections: The Value of European Networks’ at Dance Limerick on Friday, 29 September 2023 at 11:00am. Please register by Tuesday, 26 September by email at evelyn.okeeffe@artscouncil.ie

This event in Dance Limerick will provide insights into international collaboration for artists and organisations and will highlight the value to Irish arts and cultural organisations of engaging with the community of European networks.

  • Allin Gray, CEO IAYO (Irish Association of Youth Orchestras) | European Orchestra Federation and European Music Council
  • Lucy Medlycott, Director ISACS (Irish Street Arts, Circus & Spectacle Network) | IETM Network
  • Niamh Brown, Curator Ormston House | Trans Europe Halles
  • Guido Tilkin, President Federation for European Storytelling

Presentations:

  • Aoife Tunney, Acting Head of International Arts, will present on the Arts Council International Arts Policy.
  • Katie Lowry, Culture Office, Creative Europe Desk Ireland will highlight funding that is available under the Creative Europe programme such as European Networks and Co-operation Project funding.
