European Union Youth Orchestra Applications Open

The European Union Youth Orchestra is now open to applicants.

The European Union Youth Orchestra is a youth orchestra with members drawn from the 27 members states of the European Union. Since its foundation in 1976, it has connected music colleges and the professional music world for generations of European musicians

The EUYO’s main audition period is between October and December. Each year, the specific dates are slightly different for each country, so make sure you know your country’s relevant deadlines.

Please check your your preferred country’s application deadlines and audition dates. EUYO works very closely with its local audition organisers in all 27 EU countries. They are responsible for the delivery of the EUYO auditions in their country. Before the EUYO’s main audition period – between October and December each year – there will be specific information and application forms available on the EUYO website for each EU country.

The deadline to apply for the Ireland auditions is Saturday, 30 September. The auditions will be held on Monday, 13 November. You will be contacted with your audition time in early October. To apply, you must be aged between 16 and 26 years on December 31 of the audition year.
