Association of British Orchestras Conference 2022

The Association of British Orchestras Conference will take place in-person from Wednesday, 9 – Friday, 11 February 2022 in Glasgow and they will host an online conference from Thursday, 10 – Friday, 11 February 2022.

The ABO’s primary event each year is its annual conference, the major gathering of the classical music industry in the UK, with over 350 delegates drawn from orchestras both from within the UK and abroad, plus funding agencies, venues, agents, publishers and suppliers.

This year there will be an online conference, Thursday, 10 and Friday, 11 February, accessible through a Digital Pass priced from £150 + VAT. ABO will also provide free access for musicians to the sessions on Thursday afternoon, thanks to funding from Help Musicians and the MU. Click here for the schedule for the online conference

Alongside this will be their in-person conference, from Wednesday, 9 to Friday, 11 February. As in previous years there will be a rich offer of in-person sessions, networking, awards dinner and concerts. But a unique feature of this year’s conference will be that in-person delegates will also have access to the online sessions, either on their own laptop or via a ‘cinema room’ which will be set up in one of the conference suites. There is a range of pricing options, including full delegate places with discounts for multiple bookings, day passes, and discounts for Under 30s, Musicians and Students.
