12th European Orchestra Festival 2021 in Plovdiv | Deadline Extended
The application deadline for the 12the European Orchestra Festival 2021 has been extended to 26 October 2020.

The Festival has a range of workshops, concerts and performances for the participating musicians and orchestras.
The concept of the European Orchestra Festival is based on inclusion and participation. Therefore all participating musicians register for a workshop.
The fee for attending the festival is €360 per adult (in a double room) and €290 for under 25s (in shared bedrooms). There is an additional fee of €80 for those who require a single room.
The participation fee includes:
- All concerts;
- All workshops;

- Breakfast at the hotel;
- Opening and closing ceremonies both with dinner buffet (13 and 15 May);

You can find out more about the costs and fees here.
Instrument rentals
All orchestras attending the festival are expected to bring their own instruments. However, the festival will be able to provide instruments for hire for instruments that are difficult or expensive to transport. For example, double bass, timpani, percussion and possibly other special instruments can be made available for the fee (fee TBC). There will be a limited number of instruments available.
You can read more about the Festival, workshops, concerts and participation at orchestrafestival.eu.
IAYO feel that these Festivals are a very good opportunity for youth orchestras to travel at a relatively affordable rate and to meet and perform with musicians from across Europe.
