The Arts Council Announce Creative Places Award

The Arts Council is inviting applications for the Creative Places Award, aimed at fostering inclusive and diverse arts programmes in communities across Ireland with limited access to the arts. This initiative seeks to build upon cultural strengths through socially engaged arts practice and community development principles, with a strong focus on involving individuals often excluded from such opportunities. Applications must be submitted by the deadline of Thursday, 28 March 2024 at 5.30pm.

The award is open to local authorities, arts organisations, and community development organisations, including local-authority arts offices, Ealaín na Gaeltachta, and organisations supporting specific groups. The Creative Places Award is structured into three strands, catering to both existing recipients progressing into further phases of their projects and new applicants focusing on research and development. New applicants can apply for up to €30,000 under Strand 3 for a one-off Research and Development Award.

You must be registered with the online services website to make an application. If you are not already registered, we recommend you register for online services as far in advance of the deadline as possible, as it may take five days for your online services registration to be processed.
