Funding Opportunities: Music Capital Scheme 2020

Applications are now open for the Music Capital Scheme 2020, managed by Music Network and supported by the Department of Media, Tourism, Arts, Culture, Sport and the Gaeltacht.

Both non-professional performing groups and individual professional performing musicians are invited to apply by 2pm on Tuesday, 13 October 2020.

The Music Capital Scheme provides funding for the purchase of musical instruments to individual professional musicians and non-professional performing groups.

Music Capital Scheme 2020

There are two strands:

Music Capital Scheme Award 1
Applications are invited from a wide range of non-professional performing groups, including but not limited to orchestras, marching/concert/pipe bands, Irish traditional, popular, contemporary, jazz, choral and samba groups.

Music Capital Scheme Award 2
Applications are invited from individual musicians performing at professional level to assist with the purchase of instruments across genres including, but not limited to Irish traditional, classical, jazz/improvised, electro-acoustic, blues, Americana and early music.

Closing date is 2pm on Tuesday, 13 October 2020.
