MIFI: Music Instrument Fund of Ireland 2022

MIFI, the Music Instrument Fund of Ireland are inviting students of violin, cello and viola to apply for their 2022 auditions taking place on 21 May 2022.

The Music Instrument Fund of Ireland was set up to provide young Irish string players with the opportunity to progress by performing on world-class instruments not normally available to them.

MIFI has a carefully selected range of violins, violas and cellos. This range of fine instruments will provide successful applications with the necessary tools, to enable them to progress and compete internationally.

The instruments were sourced and identified as appropriate by the experience and deep knowledge of performers, teachers, and dealers in Europe.

Following careful audition and interview, our panel of experts and advisors work closely together, to match instruments and students.

Closing date for applications is 30 April 2022.
