Erasmus + Youth Mobility Funding

The Erasmus+ programme aims to support actions in the fields of education, training, youth and sport for the period of 2014 – 2020. It provides funding and support for organisations to operate projects consistent with its objectives and which encourage European exchange, co-operation and learning. Erasmus+ is funded by the European Union through the contributions of member states, including Ireland.

Through Leargas, there is an ongoing stream of funding for Youth Mobility which provides funding for youth exchanges and the mobility of youth workers. Over the years, a number of youth music organisations have benefitted from this programme including the Symphonic Waves Orchestra, County Wexford Youth Orchestra and the Young Dublin Symphonia

Leargas is very supportive to those applying in providing help in filling out applications and provide training for applicants and for projects.

The next deadline for applications is 5 February 2020 and there will be two further deadlines on 30 April and 1 October 2020. For further information, see leargas.ie.
