Funding: Arts Council Arts Participation Project Award
Applications are open for the Arts Council Arts Participation Project Award.
Closing date for applications is 5.30pm, Thursday, 19 August 2021.
The award supports specific projects in the field of arts participation commencing on or after 1 January 2022.
The Arts Participation Project Award supports initiatives in the field of arts participation (participatory, collaborative, community and socially engaged arts practices). The purpose of the award is to support proposals from professional artists or arts organisations that wish to collaborate artistically with non-arts professionals (individuals or groups).
The award is open to professional artists and arts organisations.
The maximum award available is €60,000. Ambitious projects at the higher end of this scale may be supported; however, the average award is likely to be considerably lower. You are advised to seek advice from the Arts Council well in advance of applying.
In addition to the normal limits stated above, the Arts Council will also consider costs specifically relating to the making of work by artists with disabilities. If you wish to apply for additional funding on this basis, you should provide information with your application outlining what these additional costs are.
Please note: You must be registered with the online services website to make an application for any Arts Council funding. If you are not already registered, we recommend you register for online services as far in advance of the deadline as possible, as it may take five days for your online services registration to be processed.
We also urge anyone, before starting your application, to reach out to the relevant contact within the Arts Council at email@example.com.
