St Agnes’ CCMA Summer Strings 2021
St Agnes’ Community Centre for Music and the Arts has announced details of their Summer Strings 2021 summer camp.
Summer Strings 2021 will take place (mainly online) from Monday, 28 June – Friday, 2 July with Cormac Ó hAodáin and there will be a final concert on Zoom on 2 July at 8pm.
This year’s summer camp will take place remotely for the most part, but if national safety guidelines make this possible, Cormac will conduct a live-streamed quintet who will be socially distanced in St Agnes’ Community Centre for Music & the Arts, Dublin.
Secondary school students and adult players will take part including players from St Agnes’ Chamber Orchestra and St Agnes Community Late Starters’ Orchestra but, this year, St Agnes’ CCMA are happy to welcome guest players to join virtually from wherever they may be, whether you are presently playing with an LSO (Late Starters Orchestra) or youth orchestra.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest.
The repertoire will cover Handel, Mozart, Vaughan Williams. The fee for the course is €60 for adults and €30 for students.
