RIAM Young Composers’ Summer Project

Young composers (and would-be composers) age 15-18 are invited to spend a week working with Composer and Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) Faculty member Jonathan Nangle, as they explore the vast possibilities of using technology to create their own compositions.

The course will take place online from Monday, 21 – Friday, 25 June, from 10am – 4pm each day. The participation fee is €185.

Participants will work remotely with RIAM musicians to learn more about writing for different instruments and build an excellent foundation to begin a Summer of musical creativity, as they learn to realise their music with the devices, resources, and technology they already have at home.
