Irish Youth Baroque Orchestra 2025

The Irish Youth Baroque Orchestra Performance Course will take place from Monday, 28 July to Saturday, 2 August 2025 in Dublin.

The Irish Youth Baroque Orchestra is aimed at advanced instrumental students between the ages of 18 and 24 with an interest in historically informed performance.

Application to the IYBO Performance Course is open to players of violin, viola, cello, double bass, harpsichord, oboes, bassoon, natural trumpets, and timpani.

Players outside of this age range are welcome to apply and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Note: A video submission is required to apply for the IYBO Performance Course.

The fee for participation in the summer course will be €250.

The course is non-residential. However, limited accommodation is available at Wesley House for which there will be a charge of €150 to subsidise the overall cost of staying.
