“Introduction to Historically Informed Performance” Online Course

From 6 – 7 July 2024, there will be an Irish Youth Baroque Orchestra “Introduction to Historically Informed Performance” online course.

Places are available to musicians of any instrument with an interest in historically informed performance.

The course will run from 10.00 am – 1.30pm each day (with half hour break at 11.30am – 12 noon).

The course will cover a variety of aspects of baroque music performance, including an introduction to baroque music and historically informed performance.

There will be a participation fee of €80 for the online course.

Please Note: We strongly encourage players who apply for the performance course and have not previously taken part in any Irish Youth Baroque Orchestra activities to take part in this online course.
