Irish Chamber Orchestra’s 2022 Academy Project | Applications Open

The Classical Strings Performance Programme at the University of Limerick would like to invite you to the Irish Chamber Orchestra’s 2022 Academy Project!

This is a 5-day intensive course welcoming string players- third level students and graduates from all over the world to play alongside and be mentored by principal members of the Irish Chamber Orchestra.

The 2022 Academy Project will start on Saturday, 12 March in the ICO Studio at the University of Limerick and will culminate in a public performance at lunchtime on March 16th. This year we will be performing Shostakovich’s Chamber Symphony, Mozart’s Divertimento in F and musical highlights from Bernstein’s West Side Story.

The Irish Chamber Orchestra Academy Project is offering this as a free course and will also provide lodging free of charge. The only expense for the participant is the cost of travel.
