UCD Symphony Orchestra Concert

UCD Symphony Orchestra presents ‘Northern Lights’ on Wednesday, 15 November at 8pm in St Mary’s Church, Haddington Road.

Join UCD Symphony Orchestra on a journey from Ireland to Northern Europe, from A.J Potter’s rarely-performed Fantasia Gaelach No. 1, rich in Irish folk melodies, to Norway and the folk-inspired dances of Grieg’s beloved piano concerto in a minor, and finally to Finland, with the rich romanticism of Sibelius’ Symphony No. 1. The orchestra will be joined by acclaimed Irish pianist, Billy O’Brien as soloist. Tickets are available here.
