Irish Youth Baroque Orchestra Take Part in Dublin HandelFest
We were delighted that the Irish Youth Baroque Orchestra, our collaboration with the Irish Baroque Orchestra, got to be part of the inaugural Dublin HandelFest on Saturday, 21 August with an online, streamed performance.
The Irish Youth Baroque Orchestra, led by Artistic Director Claire Duff (Leader of the Irish Baroque Orchestra) had pre-recorded a performance of Handel’s Op.6 No.11 in A major in St Ann’s Church, Dawson Street, Dublin in July.
This performance then streamed online as part of the Young Artists Irish Youth Baroque Orchestra Take Part in Dublin HandelFest Showcase during Dublin HandelFest. Viewers also got the chance to see a streamed performance by the Iverni Baroque Ensemble that included previous IYBO participants during the session.
The Dublin HandelFest is a festival by the Irish Baroque Orchestra and more information can be found at www.dublinhandelfest.com.
