National Youth Orchestra of Ireland to take to the stage of the National Concert Hall

The National Youth Orchestra of Ireland will hold their first 2019 performance in the National Concert Hall, Dublin on Tuesday, 5 January at 6.30pm.

Join the NYOI, conducted by Gearóid Grant, for a spectacular New Year celebration! NYOI works with the next generation of musicians (aged 12 – 18) on a full symphonic programme including works by Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich and Khachaturian.

NYOI will be joined by its former Leader, David Tobin, who will perform Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor. David is quickly developing a reputation as one of Ireland’s rising stars in classical music. He has given numerous recitals at the National Concert Hall, which have all been sold-out, as well as in various festivals and venues across Ireland. NYOI is delighted to invite David back to perform together again.
