Irish National Opera: Project Administrator
Irish National Opera wishes to recruit a Project Administrator to join the core team for a period of three years to co-ordinate and support the delivery of an international project funded by the EU Horizon 2020 programme.
This new position is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who wishes to develop skills in the arts sector and gain experience in the management of a transnational project.
Reporting to the Studio & Outreach Producer, the primary functions of the Project Administrator are to:
- Assist the Studio & Outreach producer and the Digital Communications Manager in managing and delivering Traction, a project funded by the EU led by an international consortium of arts and technology organisations; the Irish element of the project will involve a large number of stakeholders and participants;
- Provide administrative support in the Production Department, in particular assist the Studio & Outreach Producer and the Artistic Administrator;
- Support the work of the company as required.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to multitask, possess superior communication and organisational skills, have the ability to work effectively in a team, have some administrative experience and have high attention to detail. Prior knowledge of opera is not a requirement but a passion for the arts will be advantageous. The successful candidate may be required to work evenings and/or weekends where necessary.
