Ceol na Mara

A non residential course designed with families in mind. In addition to the classes featuring both classical and traditional music, the location gives everyone time to enjoy the beautiful Connemara countryside.

Now in its 18th year, the Summer School is an ideal way to explore the world of music. Classes can be enjoyed by students who already take music lessons and also by keen newcomers.

The DYO Chamber Music Summer Courses are designed for young musicians (from age 9 to 18) with some experience in orchestra and chamber music and also for those who are completely new to ensemble playing.

Musical Horizons Summer School

Sligo Academy of Music and Music Generation Sligo present their 3rd annual summer school. A wide range of classes from beginner to advanced musicians aged 7-17 years. Students will participate in a wide variety of classes like orchestra, strings/woodwind ensembles, dance, pop group, songwriting and composition, art and music, world orchestra percussion, and lots lots more. It’s also the perfect opportunity to try a taster class of a new instrument!
