The Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) is holding a Virtual Open Day for strings, wind, brass and percussion on this Sunday 22 November for music students aiming to study on performance degree programmes from 2021/22.

RIAM are asking music organisations and teachers to nominate any potential students (grade 8+, over age 16) to attend the Virtual Open Day and interested students can register their interest below.

For undergraduate programmes, the RIAM offers a 4-year Bachelor in Music Performance degree, a 1-year Diploma in Music Teaching and Performance and an Access programme.

  • Mini-masterclasses for strings with RIAM professors;
  • Performance classes with tutor-led group feedback and discussion
    Art of Audition workshop;
  • Open chamber music coaching;
  • Virtual coffee break with current undergraduate and postgraduate students;
